CASE STUDY 1

Earthkeepers, Canada

Education and capactiy building initiative funded by the Ontario Power Authority

  • iDesignDigital (along with its Aboriginal and Energy partners) was awarded the contract in a competitive bid by the Ontario Power Authority (IESO) in Canada to develop Earthkeepers.me in 2024.

  • The initiative was part of IESO’s Education and Capacity building program to facilitate participation of Aboriginal communities in Ontario’s renewable energy sector.

  • iDesignDigital was responsible for the full educational platform design, content creation and delivery.

CASE STUDY 2

AI Learning Hub

AI integrated with E-learning courses to help learners seamlessly access expert knowledge.

  • The AI Learning Hub-EPC is trained on the Engineering, Procurement and Construction of renewable energy systems.

  • This custom AI provides an Expert Chat function to all registered learners. It answers questions and presents links to relevant E-Learning screens and resources.

  • It's an alternate, learner-led way of accessing course content. 

  • Seamless and user-friendly, it allows use of the course even after the initial training is completed.

CASE STUDY 3

E-Learning

​​Construction Safety training in English and French for over 200,000 learners across Canada

  • Development of E-Learning courses on Safety training for construction workers across Canada. 

  • A 6-hour-long course delivered on mobiles, tablets, and desktops, with a strong focus on visual design. 94 explainer videos/animation, 25 assessment sets and numerous activities to reinforce learning.

  • Delivered to over 200,000 registered users with varying technology skills across urban, rural and remote areas. Bandwidth optimization and UX best practices allowed the training to be delivered successfully to all learner groups.

  • Custom HTML-5 and JS were used for cost-effective development and maintenance of English and French versions.

LMS Update for Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, UK

Strategy, Ux and Technical development for new Learning Management System (LMS)

  • A global leader in K-12 education, HMH’s Learning Management System (LMS) is a key piece in HMH’s delivery of educational content to its learners.

  • iDesignDigital provided UX and visual design for update of the LMS. It was used by thousands of schools in the U.S.

  • New LMS incorporated new responsive tools for teachers, students and parents such as Smart Planners, Student Dashboard, and Teacher Gateway/Resources; all designed for multi-device usage (PCs, tablets and mobiles).

  • Solution included participating in strategy development, and User experience consulting and UI development..

CASE STUDY 5

United Nations Development Fund (UNDP)

Development of educational / communication materials for UNDP’s Access to Energy program.

  • iDesignDigital created educational / communication materials for UNDP’s Access to Energy program.

  • The program brought rural electrification in select villages in the states of Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan and Kerala in India using Bio-fuel, Bio-gas, Micro Hydel Power generation setups.

  • Print publications and collaterals documented the success stories through an in-depth look at one village each with an example of Bio-fuel, Bio-gas, Micro Hydel Power generation setup.

  • Solution included graphic design, instructional design, writing and illustration for the communication materials.

CASE STUDY 6

Nationwide Building Society, UK

Training, consultancy, design and development services

  • iDesignDigital provided training consultancy, design and development services for 8 large training solutions in 29 months.

  • Worked on Blended learning solutions which including eLearning, reference guides, interactive PDFs, simulations, videos and face-to-face training packs.

  • Created reusable SCORM compliant training assets on new financial products and system implementations. 

  • Used tools such as Storyline, Lectora, Captivate, custom HTML and Javascript, InDesign, Camtasia and Illustrator to create these interactive training assets.

David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, UK and Kenya

Providing visualisation and illustration services for orphan elephant rescue storieya

  • The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust is today the most successful orphan-elephant rescue and rehabilitation program in the world and one of the pioneering conservation organisations for wildlife and habitat protection in East Africa.

  • iDesignDigital provided visualisation and illustration services for the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust for rescue stories of orphan elephants.
