What i do.jpg

I bring over 25 years of experience across Learning & Development, Instructional Design, eLearning Development, UX Design, and Project Management, delivering high‑impact digital learning solutions for multinational corporations, government organisations, education providers, and nonprofit companies. I excel at identifying opportunities and risks early, shaping creative and future‑ready learning solutions, and establishing standards, templates, and best practices that elevate team capability.

My experience includes managing client communications, leading cross‑functional teams, and delivering solutions that consistently meet organisational goals. My expertise spans Learning Needs Analysis, high‑level course design, detailed storyboarding, multimedia development, and the creation of engaging, SCORM‑compliant eLearning using tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, Captivate, Lectora, Vyond, Powtoon, Camtasia, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Audition, InDesign, and HTML/CSS/JavaScript.

iDesignDigital
Training & Software Company

As a director, I manage all aspects of running the company and lead cross-functional remote teams to develop and deliver cutting-edge digital learning solutions across multiple time zones. Over the last 18 months, I've focused on expanding our reach by delivering tailored solutions to Canadian and British clients.

In this phase of growth, I’ve delivered multiple custom eLearning modules, standalone assessments, and an AI-powered mobile app for a solar panel company. I have also created a custom AI chatbox that is integrated seamlessly into eLearning solutions.

Learning Content Design Lead (Project Management role)

I managed a small team of training developers and upskilled them in Storyline, Rise, development processes, and eLearning best practices. I worked closely with stakeholders, SMEs, and QA teams.

My role was to enable the transition from face‑to‑face training to online training. I defined end‑to‑end processes, updated the JSP 822, introduced key concepts such as high‑level design, effort‑estimation tools, storyboarding, UI development, prototyping, user acceptance testing, and quality assurance.

FlexBasic

FlexBasic was a new product launched by NBS in response to a government initiative to provide all UK citizens access to a bank account. I created three modules to address the learning needs of different teams at NBS.

I worked with SMEs, wrote story boards, designed the course UI and interactions, and used Captivate to develop SCORM‑compliant modules.

I also developed a custom menu that learners used to easily navigate to previously visited pages. After receiving positive learner feedback, this was added as a standard course feature.

Domestic and general
Money Laundering

In my contract role at Domestic & General, I designed and developed four complete eLearning courses within a three‑month period. My responsibilities covered the full development cycle: writing storyboards, creating reusable templates, and building courses using Adapt, a new HTML/JavaScript‑based rapid authoring tool that produced fully responsive courses.

Alongside new development, I helped review existing courses and recommended targeted content and functionality improvements.

I developed eight eLearning modules in just two weeks for a European client on Writing Effective Content. The project had several challenges:

  • the modules were hosted on the client’s LMS, which we could not access for testing;

  • the visual designs had been created without considering the capabilities of the eLearning tools;

  • 2 weeks to develop 8 modules was extremely challenging;

  • a larger project depended on the success of this delivery.

Despite these constraints - and being away for three days during the development window—I completed all eight modules on time and to the client’s expected quality standards.

hmh dashboard (desktop)

I was contracting as a UX designer at HMH. The HMH dashboard was a much needed alternative to the existing LMS landing page which was static.

Users familiar with the LMS (and new users after a few weeks) had no need for navigational instructions that appeared on the old page. User interviews highlighted that they simply clicked away from the page. They wanted access to their resources, assessment scores, and planning and student performance data.

The Dashboard gave users easy access to their planner, resources, assignments and reports. It worked seamlessly on tablets, desktops and mobiles but was designed as ‘tablet-first’.

I designed and created impactful videos to highlight the risk coral reefs in the Australia - Asia area are facing.

Almost all of the global coral reefs are in Australia. Due to increased fishing and development, these are at risk.
